How is outdoor worship different from worship inside the church?
Currently, outdoor worship offers communion in a community setting, briefer, music-driven, and has little spoken liturgy. And, of course, the arrangement of the congregation is much different. This worship may evolve over time, as the Worship & Music Committee continues to discuss the worship schedule and opportunities for the congregations.
How is indoor worship different?
Indoor worship will continue to have designated singer/s with no congregational singing yet. You may quietly speak, hum, whisper, in your mask for hymns and congregational responses. We will continue to keep this shorter (45 minutes or less), and limit congregational speak. Pews will be marked for physical distancing.
Is it safe to attend worship?
With your good sense and the safety protocols in place, it is as safe as it can be. Nothing is 100%. We know that it is safer to be in an outside setting whenever groups congregate, so this is why we are offering a variety of options depending on the comfort level. As more people are vaccinated, it provides an extra layer of protection and immunity.
Will we continue to offer worship on Facebook Live?
