Becoming a Member

​We know everyone's situation is different, and don't pressure for membership. It's all about gathering for the purpose of fellowship and focusing on God. There are many opportunities to participate and benefit from the relationships formed in our church. Come visit us and we would be happy to discuss our community involvement and how we can include you in our journey. We do offer educational activities to join the formal membership of the church, but most importantly is your spiritual health, that you find a place you feel is safe and welcoming. Come give us a try!

Orientation to Lutheranism:

Classes on Lutheranism are taught 2 times a year. These classes are led by the pastor as an introduction to Lutheran beliefs.​

Orientation to Ascension:

The Introduction to Ascension classes are held 4 times a year for those who wish to learn about Lutheranism. The class is taught by the pastor for visitors, friends, new members and those considering membership at Ascension.
