Welcome to 2012! We step into January with one of our newest traditions – SPIRIT Week.  The staff and students will be sporting mismatched clothes, silly hats and more.  This is a fun activity to beat the winter time blues and the let down after the holidays.  Metro Parks will be visiting ALP to present Animal Tracks and Signs.  This is an awesome program which helps the children to identify animal tracks in our winter snow.  A teacher from Avalon Elementary will be visiting ALP to speak with interested parents about Kindergarten Readiness.  This has always been an informative presentation which has helped many parents with their first step into the elementary experience.  We will begin 7 weeks of Creative Movement instructed by Dublin Dance and Gymnastics.  This has always been a winter favorite at ALP.  We will be ending the month of January with a visit from COSI on WHEELS.  Everyone loves COSI.
