Time for Flood Buckets Again!
Due to the recent flooding in Southeast Ohio, we have been asked again to prepare the flood buckets. These five gallon buckets and the contents are used for the clean-up from the flood water damage. Please bring the items to church and place them in the boxes at the rear of the sanctuary or at the door in the Haimerl Center.Needed items:
- 5 gallon buckets
- Large plastic leaf bags
- Rubber work gloves
- SOS pads
- Dust masks
- Clothes line and clothes pins
- Liquid detergent
- Reusable wipes
- Liquid bleach
- Air freshners
- Insect repellent
- Cleanser
- Scrub brushes
- Sponges
- Anti-bacterial soap
We also accept monetary donations. Checks can be made out to Ascension Lutheran Church with "Flood Buckets" marked in the memo line. The committee will purchase the items. Each bucket, when filled, totals about $25 - $30. Thanks for all your help.
