Martha Circle

Our circle meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Adult Lounge at the church. The purpose of Martha Circle is to offer a relevant Bible study and fellowship. The location of each meeting will be printed in the monthly Chi Rho and church bulletin. All women of Ascension are welcome. If transportation or more information is needed, please call our leader, Irene Guiler via the church office at 262-7389.

Deborah Circle

(Formerly Business Women’s Circle)

Our circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the homes of our members. Our program topics include Bible history, mission work of the church, spiritual and personal growth and everyday living as a Christian woman. We are a lively and fun group! We usually go out to dinner during the year. If you are interested in this circle, call one of the members for transportation or contact Ruth Cummings via the church office at 262-7389. You are always welcome.

Dorcas Circle

Our circle meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 AM in the adult lounge, with the exception of January and February. The Pastors lead the group on various topics. Please join us by contacting our leader.

Christian Action

The purpose of Christian Action is to aid the families of Ascension Church in times of need, emergency, and funerals. They also assist the Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry programs.

Faith and Life

This committee plans and makes arrangements for all the WELCA women’s programmed meetings.

Outreach and Fellowship (Membership)

This committee contacts and welcomes all new women of Ascension. They also invite new members to all the WELCA functions. Coordinates Secret Sister program. Responsible for providing the WELCA booklet which is given to all new women members of Ascension as well as active members of WELCA.
