Are you tired of saying, "I'm fine," when you are still hurting inside?
GriefShare: A group experience for anyone who has lost a significant person in their life
Have you lost someone significant in your life? You need not walk through this time alone. At GriefShare you will find others experiencing similar circumstances. Everyone can walk the journey of grief at their own rate in a safe, caring and nonjudgmental atmosphere. It makes no difference how long a time has passed since your loss.
Those who have participated in GriefShare have made the following comments:
"At GriefShare I found people who really understood what I was going through." "I stopped feeling so alone." "I feel like I came alive again." "I felt so relieved to find that some of my feelings were not weird - they were normal!"
GriefShare is for anyone at any stage of grief. Everyone experiences grief differently and there is no "timetable." If you have lost someone significant in your life, come and expect to just attend quietly until you are ready to share.
GriefShare is open to the community, so please invite any acquaintance who is in a time of grief. It makes no difference how long a time has passed since their loss. Flyers about GriefShare are available on all information tables in the church. You may begin attending at any session. There is no pressure - just acceptance. You may begin attending at any session. Please call the church office at 262-7389 if you have any questions.
